McQueen varsity baseball will be participating in the Walmart (Mae Anne) and the Salvation Army’s “Stuff a Truck” toy drive on Saturday Dec. 7 from 9 am to 5 pm.
We are in need of 4 to 6 players to man the two front doors for each hour that we are there. There will be two toy donation barrels at the front doors, and players are encouraged to ask customers to purchase a toy for the drive.
We need as many players as we can get to commit to each hour, covering the eight hour shift. Incoming freshmen and JV players and parents are encouraged participate with varsity players.
Players should wear something McQueen Baseball or McQueen related. We are not only assisting with the toy drive and giving back to the community that supports us, but we’re getting the McQueen Baseball name out.
